Buying a cheap laptop?

If your on a budget and a low-cost laptop is the best you can afford, I have a few tips for you.

Memory! You should at least purchase a notebook with a minimum of 1gb of laptop memory or preferably 2 gigs! If your not a gamer you can choose integrated graphics as there is no need for a more advanced video card from nvidia or ati.

If your not going to travel with your laptop then a basic battery should suffice, as this option will keep your cost down.

You may also elect not to purchase anti virus software beyond the free trial that most pc vendors give you. You can instead download free virus protection software such as AVG which is just as good as the more expensive options like Norton.

Last but not least, look for coupon codes on the internet to save you even more money. Laptop makers like DELL and HP have coupons available daily that will save you as much as 30% on your order and make your cheap notebook computer even cheaper!
